R.O.C. Kosmos Registration Opening

fter months on the drawing boards, sketching and planning The R.O.C. Organizers, Famagusta Nautical Club & Kalamaki Nautical Club are ready to open The 1^st Ever R.O.C. Kosmos.
Due to the fact that there won’t be a World Championship, early enough in 2024, to pass out our R.O.C. Invitations to the top 10 Optimist Sailors, R.O.C. Organizers are mixing the 10 World Invitations along with 5 Wild Card Seats and organize The 1^st Ever R.O.C. Kosmos Pre-Event.
This unique event will take place in Athens Greece, specifically at Kalamaki Nautical Club between 17^th and 24^th of June, 2024 and will allow the participation of max 320 Optimist Sailors.  To control the entries of each country, the Nations Ranking 2023 will be used, shown as a link below.  To keep the event at a high level of performance, sailors would be asked to present proof of their National Ranking.
The top 10 countries of the Nations Ranking 2023 will be permitted for 14 entries each, with sailors being ranked in the top 40 of their National Ranking.
The next top 10 countries of the Nations Ranking 2023 will be permitted for 10 entries each, with sailors being ranked in the top 30 of their National Ranking.
Countries not ranked in the top 20 of the Nations Ranking 2023, but are listed beyond 20, will be permitted for 5 entries each, with sailors being ranked in the top 20 of their National Ranking.
Countries not ranked in the top 20 of the Nations Ranking 2023 and are not listed at all in it, will be permitted for 2 entries each, with sailors being ranked in the top 5 of their National Ranking.
10 Wild Card Seats available for organizers to assign
Anyone can register through our online Entry Form, at https://www.regattaofchampions.com/r-o-c-pre-event-2024/entry-form/ where you also need to upload your national ranking.  Sailors that fulfill all the requirements will need to pay their entry fee, in order to confirm their registration.  Sailors that do not meet the national ranking requirements can also proceed with a payment to confirm their entry, in case the positions for the specific country are not full-filled.  In opposite scenario, unfortunately payment will be refunded.  Deadline for the requirements process will be April 15^th 2024.  Beyond that day, Organizers will fill out the entries based on registrations outside of the boundaries of the requirements.  Registration Fee must be paid for both the Sailor and the Coach.  Coaches will pay only one fee per 8 sailors max.  Entry Fees, Charters & Insurance can be paid at the following links:

Entries will be accepted using the first come first served method, but at the end the National Ranking of each sailor will be taken under consideration.  All entries will be evaluated by our Technical Committee.
Confirmed/locked entries are considered those that meet requirements and paid OR those requested and registered by local Federations/Associations.
